About Randy Farrar Inspection Services, LLC

 

We inspect both residential and commercial real estate for buyers, sellers, and banks. Before I began as a real estate inspector, I was a homebuilder for a number of years. I received my first professional inspector license in 2004 and have been in this industry for more than a decade.

 

I operate in the Greater Corpus Christi area with a radius of approximately sixty miles from my office. My operating hours are 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday and by appointment on Saturday and Sunday.

Our clients range from young clients to older ones, from first-time buyers, while others have made major purchases before, some are looking for rental properties, while others are looking for a fixer-upper that they can do themselves.

 

One aspect that makes me second to none is my ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with my clients, making each inspection informative for the buyer allowing them to understand the process I go through.

 

There are three categories of real estate inspectors in the state of Texas, Apprentice, Real Estate Inspector, and the highest category, a Professional Inspector. The Apprentice and Real Estate Inspector have to work under the supervision of a Professional Inspector. My greatest asset as a Professional Inspector is my background in residential home-building which gives me a greater understanding of how various components work in sync, putting a home together. My second greatest asset is my multiple education hours which is a requirement for the renewal of my Professional Inspector’s license every two years.

 

When a buyer is purchasing a house, they are making one of the biggest investments of their life and need to understand the issues and their significance. My background in construction and education hours make me the natural choice for an inspection as I can explain the pitfalls of a house to them. The ability to do so sets me apart from the rest of my competition.

 

My ability to convert a home building and part-time inspection business to a full-time business has been one of my most significant achievements.

 

My vision for the future is to continue building my business, growing it, and integrating new technologies and tools to keep customers at the top of the game.
